Back in college, I was really interested in pursuing business related subject for my degree because I’ve always loved understanding how businesses grow and connect with people. However, life had a different plan. Due to family expectations, I ended up studying Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). I gave it my best shot, diving into programming, algorithms, and everything tech-related. But deep down, I knew it wasn’t what I was truly passionate about.
During my time studying CSE, I realized something important—I wasn’t excited about coding or developing software. What truly fascinated me was how businesses used technology to reach and influence people. That’s when I decided to switch my career path to Digital Marketing, combining my love for creativity, strategy, and growth.
My journey into digital marketing started with SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I was curious how search engines worked and how businesses could use them to connect with the right audience. As I learned more, I picked up skills like META marketing, Google Ads, social media management, and lead generation.
One of my first professional experiences was at Code Nexa, where I worked as a Digital Marketing Executive. I managed everything from marketplace bidding to improving website rankings and creating engaging content. It was an exciting challenge and taught me how to use both creativity and data to drive results.
Now, I’m working as a Digital Marketing & Sales Executive at SOFTEKO, a role that lets me work on on-page and off-page SEO, keyword research, content marketing, and generating B2B leads for software services. Each day brings new opportunities to help businesses grow while sharpening my own skills.
